Here he can be seen as a young student in Rome. He was ordained priest in Rome in 1960. Some legends still live amongst us. He is one of them.His diocese has the highest priest-to-Catholic ratio in the United States. Good on you, Excellency!

He is truly a living legend! He is so gracious to everyone, but I am especially greatful for his pastoral care for the traditional Catholics. He says Pontifical Mass with some regularity (ordinations for the FSSP usually) and is very supportive. Ad multos annos!
