I can't see the staircase in this photo, though I think I recognize the arches... do you have any photos of the stairs at the left arch? Also, how did you get this picture, did you take it yourself? I know not just anyone can go in there so I am curious.
well the column doesn't really have a type it's baroque , so they use volutes for everything :) by the way i didn't know it was public it's build as a passage for the pope and cardinals

ReplyDeleteIt is open to the public; it is the exit from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter's Basilica when in the Vatican Museums.
I have no other photos of the stairs.
