Thanks very much for posting this picture. Some time ago I read La Popessa and now giggle when some folks say women have no meaningful position in the Church. Mother Pascalina was an incredible women and was truly born before her time.
A while ago I tracked down a copy of Sr. Pascalina's memoirs, but haven't managed to start reading it yet. This post reminds me to do so.
I am staunchly opposed to clerics entering politics. Secular politics is not the purpose of the clergy and it is an easy venue for the devil.
