There is a story that Emperor Constantine after seeing the image of the cross in the nigtht sky before the battle ordered the Christian cross painted on all soldiers shields and sown unto to their tunics and bakers were to place the cross on the breakfast bread.....from which was born the tradition of hot cross buns....."urban legend" I don't know but its a great story. But Milvian Bridge changed everything.
