The most prophetic holy father of the 20th century. Not only did he foresee the great unraveling of human dignity and morality in this world due to the use of birth control in his great work, Humane Vitae, but he also foresaw the great champion of Christ who would defend the human dignity of all God's children, with his encourgement of and allegiance to Blessed Pope John Paul II. Pray for us Venerable Servant of God Papa Giovanni Battista Montini. No wonder our Benedict XVI Emeritus is such a great defender of you.
He was a terrible Pope (he brought us Vatican II completed reforms, the protestant style Novus Ordo, and he discarded the entire Papal court and all the traditional pomo and ceremony that went with it). He was no saint. Yet, he still presented himself as Pope better that the person who is Pope for the moment, Francis.

Francis puts him in perspective. Recent popes are not so bad.
ReplyDeleteyou should not blame him for the fact that the popes who came after him did not correct his mistakes.
