I must admit that I have never cared for the Sistine Chapel as a church. All that tumult of Renaissance writhing corporeality leaves me as inclined to pray as a production of the Cirque du Soleil. Regardless, the crucifix at the altar is in my opinion the most beautiful one I at least have ever seen. Unfortunately I can find no information about it, the creator, age, etc. If anyone knows anything I would be very grateful. Thanks.
