A Very Rare Sight: Kneeling in St. Peter's Square

Today one really only sees Catholics kneel in Poland. If you have been to Poland, you know exactly what I mean. Everybody enters a church and kneels. When they pray, they kneel. Bishop Sheen always said that half the daily Holy Hour in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament ought to be kneeling in silent prayer. Let your kids see you kneeling at home in prayer. Bring your kids to the Extraordinary Form where they can learn to kneel in prayer, and kneel to receive blessings.

    1. Heheh - kod nas je to još uvijek koliko toliko živo. Ali šteta što to samo starije bake rade, a malo mladih. No evo..ima nas koji smo donekle pravovjerni i tradicionalni.

  2. I must say that at the year for Priests Evening of Prayer in the Square with the Holy Father, when the Most Blessed Sacrament was brought outside almost the entirety of the square dropped to their knees in total and complete silence- it was one of the most beautiful sights of reverence I have seen in this city!

  4. One of the greatest experiences I've ever had was kneeling in Cuatro Vientos Airfield in Madrid during the vigil of last years World Youth Day with 2,000,000 other young people as Pope Bendedict XVI led us all in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

    Vive el Papa!
