  1. Pope Benedict XVl after his retirement was also given a Papal Tiara as a gift and he received it graciously. I hope Pope Francis wears the one given to him.

  2. Have they not noticed in Macedonia that the papal tiara has not been worn since 1963? I suppose this one will end up in the Vatican museum or the Pope may follow his predecessor who sold it to raise money for the poor, only this time he will donate the money to help illegal immigrants posing as refugees.

  4. The odds that Francis will use it are 100000 to 1...

The pope didn't smile but scowled.

  7. If he scowled, that's typical Pope Francis. What a shame he feels that way about Catholic tradition and the Papacy.

  8. Curious that the papal coat of arms on the Papal Tiara...are not crowned with the Papal tiara.
