In the good old days - roughly more than 50 years ago - there were 350 seminarians and the archbishop of Paris could ordain 50/60 priests every year in Saint-Sulpice church or Notre-Dame cathedral ! Now they are about 50 for 6 or 7 dioceses and none for or from Paris : the archbishop prefers to have his 80 seminarians study elsewhere ...
