The Docese of Peoria and the Archdiocese of New York need to stop their quibbling over the body of the Ven Fulton Sheen and move forward, united, on this cause. The dispute over the corpse is disquieting and absurd. Get together, pray and agree...the most important thing is to be move ahead with the cause and have him declared a saint. As to where his body rests....small things compared to his canonization. Petty church politics and economics have no place here. God can't be pleased.
