Today it is a conservatory of music:

Back in the day it was the school of a future saint.
La Scuola Ginnasiali di Castelfranco Veneto is what it was called.
The Sarto family were poor and so the future Pontiff walked here every day from his nearby village of Riese. He would carry his shoes and walked barefoot. Today you take the bus between the two towns. It was an honor to walk it. Do the same and you will see the statue of young Joe Sarto, carrying his shoes.
