Aren't Usus Antiquor ordinations reserved only for members of FSSP, ICKSP, Friars of the Immaculate and others (in any way)supervised by Ecclesia Dei?
Don't get me wrong. I'd like to be ordained this way one day too ... just asking if it were possible if i'm a member of Order of st. Paul the first hermit(given that the ordination itself is seven years from now)?
The ordination was done for Archdiocese of Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Legalism aside, exceptions by the competent authorities can be made for secular priests to be ordained in the Classical Rite.
Cunjo, under current law it would be almost impossible. However, a lot may change in seven years - we've not yet had four years of Summorum Pontificum!

ReplyDeleteArchbishop Haas is positively the cutest bishop ever! He looks every inch a prelate! Even his cheeks match the color oh his cassock!
