  1. God help and sustain these wonderful Polish peoples who in recent years gave us John Paul 2, Sister Faustina and St Maximillian Kolbe.
3 Polish people who changed the world.

  2. Eternal rest give to them, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon them.

We will miss Fr. Józef Joniec, a Polish Piarist who was founder of the famous Parafiada of St. Joseph Calasanz, or "Parish Olympics", with sports, arts, and religious events for children and youth of parishes from all over Poland and also from other countries. Fr. Joniec will be missed not just by his Piarist confreres but also by thousands of children and young people in Poland.

Requiem æternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in Pace. Amen.
