Manning Networking Conference: "A Conservative Family Reunion"
A wonderful event held in Ottawa with countless conservatives in attendance from across Canada. Young and old alike came in abundance. Parents, grandparents and youth.
The oldest participant was an 89-year-old lady from Quebec who spoke of the joy of seeing King George VI when he came to Canada in 1939.
The theme of the conference was government as facilitator: "How can government facilitate without creating unhealthy dependencies or bureaucratic intrusions into the non-government sectors?" A beautiful thought considering the past track record of the malodorous Broadway plastique known as the Liberal Party of Canada.
The shared sentiment of the conference goers was clear: "Thank the Lord for a strong, stable, national Conservative majority government in Canada and let's keep it that way for a better future for us all."
“He is a very shallow critic who cannot see an eternal rebel in the heart of a conservative.”
