Vivat Benedictus XVI!

Um, no interim pope here.

Leo XIII was 93 when he died.

Pius X was 79 when he died.

John XXIII was pope for 4 years, 7 months and 6 days.

To the heights of the supreme keys, long may he reign: Vivat Benedictus XVI!

  3. Long live Benedict XVI. I hope he makes it as long as did Paul VI (15 years). With the Grace of God, of course. Let us Pray that this Pope begings to suprise the world (and outrage the liberals), with a stunning series of rulings that both bring back Catholic tradition, repeal misguided allowances in the liturgy, and houseclean both the Roman Curia, and religious Orders and dioceses of dissidents, peodphiles, and gays.

If you rid the church of gays, you will probably loose half of the Roman Catholic Church's clergy. An obedient, chaste gay man can be just as effective a priest as an obedient, chaste heterosexual man. Let's not generalize and scapegoat one group of individuals.
