We had First Blessings last Sunday, courtesy of one of the men ordained in Wigratzbad last June. There was quite a crowd, and I had to wait for my turn long enough (and the priest spoke distinctly enough) that I think I memorised the whole formula:
"Per impositionem manuum mearum sacerdotalium et per intercessionem omnium Sanctorum omni benedictione caelesti ac terrestri benedicat te omnipotens Dominus, Pater, et Filius, et Spiritus Sanctus. Amen."
Ah, Latin. If it had been in the vernacular, I doubt I'd have remembered even half the wording.
