Modernism is deeply entrenched in our congregation and unless a great miracle from heaven happens, we are doomed to extinction. Doing m...The Oblates are not what they used to be. Doing misionary work for Oblates was before was harvesting souls for the Lord, as the Holy Oblate Founder St, Eugene de Mazenod taught his Oblates. But today, since the Oblate congregation is sadly too modernistic, missioning is for the sake of dialogue and community and not to save souls.
