  1. Wow! I hope to visit in July. My patron saint is St Dominic Savio, a student of Don Bosco. :)

  2. Don Bosco is not incorrupt, that's a wax effigy.

  3. The holy remains of St John Bosco is not incorrupt. That is a wax figure, and the sacred relics are wrapped within the wax figure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87LT1Zibvzg

  4. He would cry over what has become of his Salesians since Vatican II. Liberals, dissenters, etc. Not all....but a great percentage.

No vocations..especially in Italy and all Europe.
    Sad. Very sad.

  5. I have been told that one half of the corpse of St Bosco is taken out and it will soon travel worldwide for adoration.

    1. Yes, the pilgrimage around the world was successfully completed in 2014, not half his body but only the right arm, to become a cause to remember his life & example and emulate this holy man (not adore it).

  6. Holy remains of St Bosco are not incorrupt. But his Brown Scapular is.

  7. Calvin-we don't 'adore' the Saints. We VENERATE them. Adoration belongs to God alone. Big difference in terminology!

One half of the corpse is being taken out? EWWW, gross!
